1. Local-First Architecture
Cloasta operates on a local-first philosophy. Unlike standard browser tools that proxy your prompt requests through remote middleman servers, Cloasta indexes and stores all active conversational sync states directly in your local browser sandbox.
We do not store, view, modify, or transmit your session logs, prompt libraries, or API credentials to any remote database. Your information remains completely yours.
2. Data Collection and Usage
We believe in absolute data minimization. The only data we process includes:
- Account & Billing Info: Your purchase email and transaction records are processed securely via our trusted payment processor (Razorpay) to distribute license keys and download links.
- Usage Telemetry: Strictly anonymous layout preferences (e.g. active dark mode options) saved purely to your local storage to persist interface state.
3. Security & Local Encryption
All sensitive information stored locally inside your browser—including prompt history states and personalized settings—is fully encrypted using **AES-256-GCM** encryption keys. These keys are kept safely inside the Chrome secure local storage container, isolated from other websites.
4. Compliance & Controls
Because your files and prompt histories never leave your device, you have complete control over your files at all times. You can purge all active index contexts, saved prompts, and preferences directly from the Cloasta extension settings dashboard with a single click.
